Five Best Bodies of Water
1: Diamond Valley Lake, Hemet, CA
2: Perris Lake, Perris, CA
3: Don Pedro Lake, Don Pedro, CA
4: Lake McClure, Snelling, CA
5: New Melonies, Jamestown, CA

Favorite Fishing Technique: Senkos, and Texas Rigging.

Pro’s Pointers: I just recently had my son use the Midnight Snack Buzzrbait the second day we had it. On the third cast he brought in a 4-lb, 20-inch largemouth. I like to run my Buzzrbaits with the extra willow (turtleback) blade. I have noticed it gives it a lot of extra flash on the surface. I prefer bleeding baits, with the color red added to the spinnerbait and Buzzrbait hooks and wire. (Add a red Sharpie to your tackle box.)

Prostaff David DanelAbout David Danel: I started fishing tournaments with my Dad when I was twelve years old. I finished my first tournament as a kid fishing New Melonies Lake, and finished 1st place. For the last fourteen years I have been in the Marine Corps, so I have had a chance to fish all over the United States. For the last two years I have been dedicating my time teaching my Son and Daughter the art of Bass Fishing. I do not currently fish the amateur or professional tournaments in California yet. Since the Iraq war has begun it has limited my time fishing, since I have been training, and deploying consistently. Since this will be my last trip over seas, my Son and I will start our first tournament season in June of 2008. I have had the opportunity to fish with several local clubs and compete in tournaments:
- Camp Pendleton Bass Association 2006-2007
- Inland Empire Bass Masters 2006-2007
- Hemet Bass Association 2007-present
