Techniques:

• I love buzzbaits and when fishing tournaments I never fish it without a trailer hook. If you are fishing a buzzbait in a tournament, you should be using a trailer hook. There is a reason SWL includes one in the package!


Tips From Me:

• #1 Quickstrike Spinnerbait using a 7/16oz Head, translucent skirt & downsized blades in clean MN lakes to keep my bait down and moving fast, that is the key to triggering strikes.


• #2 5/16oz White or Black Buzzrbait with a small red willow to draw strikes all day, and always with a trailer hook #3 Recoil rig drop shotting any or numerous favorite soft plastics
  
  
• #3 Looking for a super shallow water finesse rig? Take your favorite soft plastic bait, rig it Texas style with a large 4/0 or 5/0 hook and string two glass beads in front of it. It adds just enough weight, provides extra flash, and makes a subtle clicking sound that drives shallow, pressured bass nuts.
