The EZ knot™ has proven to be more reliable and much easier and faster to tie than the standard Albright Knot.

The critical step in tying this knot is the first step. First pass the smaller line through the loop of the larger one, and then make the wraps around both legs of the larger line, as shown in the first stop at right.

Failure to do this will result in the knot sliding off the loop and failing with very little effort. Test the knot after tying to make sure you inserted the smaller line you&30146;re making the knot with through the loop properly.

The knot is now tied like any other EZ knot, four or five wraps, around the tool, and then tucking the tag under the wraps, then pulling the knot off , and snugging it up, then cut off the tag ends.
